Drive Innovation. Foster Inclusion.
Develop New Talent.
In today’s competitive global environment, American innovation hubs must make the most of all the resources and talent available in different regions and institutions. Regional universities, where many students pursue their education, offer a tremendous opportunity to boost the nation’s ability to innovate in emerging technology fields.
The Enabling Meaningful External Research Growth in Emergent Technologies (EMERGE) group of regional universities is focused on building valuable relationships to expand our innovation potential. Utilizing the skills and strengths of each member, we partner with our stakeholders on high-impact and inclusive research and development (R&D) while training students with critical skills for the future.
Comprised of Emerging Research Institutions (ERIs), Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUIs), and Hispanic-Serving institutions (HSIs), EMERGE’s strengths include use-inspired research, workforce development, regional engagement, and social mobility and empowerment.
Collaboration with partners to develop knowledge and practical solutions that address regional challenges.
Education and training of work-ready graduates through a strong focus on industry-integrated experiential learning.
Commitment to regional economic development through community and industry partnerships and support for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Improving lives by providing equitable access to STEM careers and developing programs to upskill and reskill the regional workforce for career readiness.
A partnership with EMERGE allows you to drive innovation and take part in a collaborative research experience that makes a real difference. Listen to what one of our partners has to say.
